Like others I also felt like a criminal. I was shopping for specials occasion dresses for weddings. I was told they didn’t have anything in stock for what I was after. I said I’ll take a browse anyway see if anything catches my eye. Proceeded to be followed around the store by who I assume is the owner. I was told they don’t have my size in stock of ALL the pieces I asked about. Stupid because I could afford these pieces and guess what, I ordered them online elsewhere. Would rather shop online anytime than have that experience again. Makes supporting small business hard when they treat their customers like that!

Unfortunately I share the same experience as so many others. I visited a couple of months ago, my friend and I we're immediately greeted with a nasty look up and down by an older lady. Whilst browsing we we're followed around the store very obviously- touching items in the store felt like a crime. We left not long after entering, the entire time treated as if we we're thieves. Absolutely will not be back, I welcome a new store to replace 23 Albert with better customer service and store experience!

Unenjoyable experience. Visit manly every weekend and was so excited to finally have some me time at this store I drive past all the time. They keep following you fixing anything and everything you touch- like you’re not allowed to browse. Snooty & unwelcoming vibe by the blonde hair lady & lady with the accent. Have no idea how they would pay the rent when you can get the exact same product online cheaper. Should be an online store not customer facing since they’re not very good with customers.

The staff here at 23 Albert are horrid! We observed the older lady looking customers up and down and then staff proceeded to follow customers around store. We went elsewhere to spend our money in Manly to retail stores who offered exceptional service, unlike this store!

Worst customer service literally ever. We were visiting manly for the day and popped into this shop. On arrival we were looked up and down by an old lady and then proceeded to be followed by her around the store. While looking at a shoe she stood over our shoulders as if we were going to steal one shoe. Not the pair just the one. She proceeded to follow us around the store until we felt so uncomfortable we decided it was time to leave. After coming online it’s clear we’re not the only ones with a bad experience.
