I would not recommend this firm. In my experience, they have been unprofessional and consistently lacking in communication, which resulted in multiple late payment fines that could have been easily avoided with proper updates and follow-up. Despite giving them several opportunities to rectify the situation, the same issues continued, with repeated excuses and no meaningful improvement. Ultimately, I had no choice but to switch to another tax firm. I do not usually leave reviews, but felt it was necessary in this case.

I decided to use Active Tax to set up an SMSF as they were recommended by a close friend. I was extremely disappointed with the service they provided as well as the lack of communication throughout the process, timeframe which was taken to respond to or action emails as well as an extensive delay which was caused to the settlement of our SMSF purchase due to documentation not being lodged to the ATO in a timely manner. Overall a stressful and disappointing experience.
