I've been a loyal customer for years owning countless pieces of earrings, rings and necklaces but my recent experience was awful. The majority of my pieces have unfortunately broken and I returned hoping to fix one of my earrings. I was met with a dismissive "I guess" attitude when I asked for help. The second staff member completely ignored us when we asked if there was any chance we can fix it. It was so obvious they were not bothered to help and even after I said multiple times "only if its not too much hassle" I was barely met with a smile. They made me feel like a complete inconvenience, barely spending any time looking for a replacement pearl before flatly stating they couldn't help - with absolute no apology or alternative solution offered, just a "we don't have it so we can't fix it" attitude. I felt judged and like a "bother" for simply seeking support for a product that failed to meet reasonable quality standards. I used to love this brand but the extremely poor quality and awful customer service has pushed me away for good. So impressed with both the jewellery and service at Alana Maria. Gorgeous things that my daughter and her friends love and so helpful when her necklace broke and they repaired it free of charge. Excellent brand, highly recommend!

I recently purchased earrings from Alana Maria and unfortunately had a pretty disappointing experience. While the designs are beautiful, I had ongoing issues with the quality of the stud-style earrings. Within the first month, I had three separate earrings fall out, including one that was faulty and came loose before I ended up losing it. I’ve never had this happen with other jewellery before, even though I’m quite active (swimming and cycling), so it was frustrating given the price point. I reached out to customer service and they were initially helpful, offering to arrange a single replacement earring, which I appreciated. However, after I followed up regarding pricing, I didn’t receive any further response. Amber being the customer service responder. To be transparent, I was told I would need to purchase a single replacement earring at a price that was only slightly less than what I originally paid for the full pair during a sale, which didn’t feel reasonable given the circumstances. Unfortunately, my follow-up email on this was ignored. To be fair, I do think some of their non-stud styles (like closed hoop designs) seem to be better quality. However, based on my experience,

Incredible business. Alana the founder is so great at what she does, her passion and drive show through her work and the quality of it. Her team are always helpful, polite, and I’ve always had a 10/10 experience. All my friends love this business - go Alana! Xxx

My friends and myself spent a lovely morning here all getting permanent bracelets. Em was our jeweler and had top tier customer service. Talked us through the process and didn’t rush us into choosing our bracelets. She gave us plenty of recommendations but did not forces us into any extra purchases. This girl needs a raise! We were all very happy with our bracelets and already want another. Definitely a great experience, would recommend to do with a group, friends or family. The store itself is stocked with incredibly beautiful jewelry that is great quality. In the instance that something does break they are so quick in repairs and do a fantastic job you cannot tell a different.
