I had such a wonderful experience at the Manly store. Cilia and the team were so welcoming and went above and beyond to help me put together a winter wardrobe for work. I needed quite a bit of help, and Cilia was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and had a great eye for finding pieces that were perfect for the office. While I was shopping, she also shared more about Anglicareβs mission, explained how the loyalty card works for future visits, and showed me how easy it is to donate through the payment terminal. I really appreciated her taking the time to help me today. Such great variety in store!

Today I was in this shop browsing, like I usually do, after work. The shop girl with long blonde hair approached me and asked to do a 'bag check', in front of another customer, near the back of the store. She then muttered thank you and walked away without an apology or explanation! I was embarrassed and angry because in the past I have bought MANY items in this shop, spent lots of money here in the past two years, but now I will NEVER step foot inside it again π‘ What nonsense the 'owner' has added on below. I was not informed by the girl looking inside my handbag, that it was a 'voluntary response', that I had to consent was never an option. She only stated: "I'm just doing a bag search", she never asked me for permission. It is illegal to search people inside stores, only when they exit. Your staff were stereotyping, unfortunately, because if not, why aren't they searching everyone else when they leave, like other shops? As I mentioned in my email to HO, I've probably spent over two hundred dollars in your second hand shop since it opened. Maybe you thought I looked like a thief because I was wearing second hand clothes? The problem is your staff and their attitudes..the young s

Whoever does the pricing here is off their head!! Most overpriced op shop ever!! Items were 5x the usual price youβd expect! Some items even priced more than if purchased new! Childrenβs 2nd hand helmet which was badly dented (and therefore unsafe for use!!) $18. Childrenβs shoes which were falling apart $20, novelty cheap keychain $10! Absolutely outrageous. The condition of some of the items here would be turned away at other op shops but sold here for ridiculous prices. Such a shame as the charity itself is a great cause however Iβd never visit again and Iβd never donate anything here on principle. Do better

I went there again to see if something changed on pricing but nooooo. That's one of the worse op shops i ever been. Overpriced items not even brand. And if it is brand OMG ..u can buy cheaper new in sales. Disgusting π«£. Whatever i touched today had marks or it was ripped and still the price crazy . In other op shops you buy a lots of even brand new kids clothes for $2,$3 . Here whatever I just checked kmart shirt with marks $5 crazy. Belongs to the bin not for sell. You should do your research better and see how much the kmart kids clothes cost new. Avoid this shop please

The Anglicare Op Shop on Manly Concourse. We enjoyed the visit there. Lots of good clothing is available, albeit quite expensive. The shop is well kept, and the staff very friendly! Thank you.
