Our mother was at Hixson Gardens Bankstown due to her condition. Myself and the family found Hixson Gardens facility to be great and all the staff there were so caring and very supportive. We want to thank Ms. Swastika, Helen Grace and all the team members at Hixson Gardens Bankstown.

We would love to acknowledge the wonderful staff and management at the Bankstown Facility of Hixson Gardens for their continuous care of our mum Leyla Abboud. They have shown us nothing short of kindeness, love and support for the past 3 years and we are delighted to see how happy and well looked after she is. Today 19 August 2025 we celebrated her 83rd birthday. She was surrounded by her loving family and her second family, the brilliant staff who made her day extra special with a beautiful room setup with balloons, birthday decorations, their lovely and warm smiles, helpful gestures and photographs they captured as well as the happy dances and music. A special shout out to Pola, Indira, Swastika, Ashura, Samia, Nahala, Cherry, Daisy, Gilbert and the rest of the team too many to mention, we extend our gratitude to you all. We appreciate you and Thankyou for everything you do for our mum. Much love to you all x

My grandmother was treated with no dignity, no care, and no respect. The staff were cold, careless, and money-hungry. She deserved compassion — not neglect. We believe their lack of proper care contributed to her death. We are pursuing a formal complaint and legal action. Do not trust your loved ones here.

I strongly advise against putting your loved ones in here not even for an animal. The staff are absolutely appalling. There’s zero care, compassion, or professionalism. It’s clear they’re only in it for the money. Don’t fall for their tricks — patients are treated poorly, and no one seems happy or genuinely cared for. Avoid at all costs.

Gemma, the Customer Support & Administration Manager, has been an absolute blessing, making the entire admission process seamless and stress-free. We can’t forget to mention the cheerful and helpful receptionists, Hellen, and her colleagues who consistently ensures that visitations, even with large groups, are managed perfectly.
