I was in a hurry when I left and didn’t check my purchases. I only realised that they had overcharged me when I reached home. I tried to call them, but the call wouldn’t go through and their voicemail box was full. I guess they never respond to complaints.

This large Asian supermarket is popular with locals especially Asians. They have a variety of food, including fresh vegetables and fruits, frozen items, sweets, savouries and snacks. Open 7 days a week until late. Prices are competitive. Access is via stairs which can be difficult for disabled people. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is difficult in the area, so park at Chatswood Chase which offers free 3 hours parking.

I am a regular customer of Asian City but little did I expect to be on the receiving end of appalling poor customer care. Not to say the customer services received on previous occasions were great, it’s was simply transactional without the rudeness. On a recent shopping, I requested for help with my purchases into my tote bag but was blatantly turned down and was asked to do it myself. I have no qualms doing so normally but on that day, I struggled with lots of shopping and was recovering from a tennis elbow. She was happy to stand there to watch me (as if I needed supervision) instead of making herself useful. Didn’t care if I was holding up the line, she just watched. Hence, I couldn’t resist to tell her off that she has zero customer service. She looked away with a smug on her face. Unbelievable! How was she ever hired in the first place. Whoever running the supermarket needs to pay more attention to recruiting quality personnels.

There is a shopping mall beside this supermarket so you can park your car there. The vegetable shops and meat shops just right beside this supermarket so it is pretty convenient to get all your groceries in one stop. This supermarket is quite average though, the choices are limited but it's enough for you to get your basic needs. Price is okay, not too expensive Overall it is just alright

4.8 - I love shopping at this store! It has so many of the items I need for my cooking. Abundance of fresh veggies and any other dried food or frozen food items including BBQ pork buns or other yum cha goodies, crockery, cutlery, drinks, instant and fresh noodles, Steamboat items etc. It also has a lot of little snacks if you're ready to eat them! Conveniently located next to another place for Fresh Veggies, Butcher and Seafood Market!
