Great RSL. Relaxed family oriented atmosphere with good food and friendly staff. Wine Room offers excellent food and the pizzas are probably the best in the area.

Previously my wife and I have enjoyed a number of predictable first class dinners at this venue. Last night as guests of another member I and my wife were embarrassed to have suggested dining in the Wine Room. Our booking was to arrive at 6pm and be seated at a side table . On arrival at 6pm at a virtually empty space we were asked to sit at a central table. After explaining our need for a quiet space we were given a side table, but why was there a need? Our waitress offered us the choice of still or sparkling water and we requested drinks (glass of red, Jack Danielle’s and lime and soda). They arrived 10 minutes later without explanation for delay.. the restaurant was still almost empty. We advised our waitress that we would like to order our meal and placed an order which included one serving of pork ribs and one serving of corn ribs bread, plus oysters , prawns for the ladies and beef for the men plus chips (2 servings) . We waited and waited, and still without any sign of food or explanation of why., we called our waitress to order another round of drinks. My host’s request for a double Jack Daniel was refused on the basis that your license forbade it and only single servings

When you charge over $29 for a burger, you’d be expecting something pretty great. This was terrible - stale brioche, chips that had been under the bay Marie for a few hours, bereft of taste and somehow soggy. Feel like I got mugged. Don’t go here.

Good medium sized RSL - more of a focus on food and sociability, than gambling like some clubs (there are a fair amount of poker machines but they are kept separate). There is a bistro, with a mix of standard bistro favourites and some "nicer" meals and twists on favourites. There is also a Mexican themed food outlet, a cafe, and a nice restaurant upstairs. Sports bar has a decent range of beers (mainly big name beers, local and imported). Overall a good experience, and a good local club. Appears to not be dog friendly, which is a shame because we'd love to bring our puppy with us.

A wonderful local club and community. The bar is well serviced and the restaurants a delight. New menu is growing on me.
