Celebrated my birthday here!! Amazing service, got a private area, great music, mouth-watering food, it was perfect! They took great care in making me feel special, with the friendly staff and beautiful table. Great place for dining, eating, events, catch ups, lunch, dinners and more. Their schnitzel, shawarma and falafel are my personal favourites. One of my favourite places. I will definitely be coming back for more...

The food at Basta is an experience of a lifetime! Insanely good and authentic Israeli food and easily the best I’ve had in Sydney. The Beef Shawarma and Schnitzel wrap are to die for. And the Knafeh is a must try desert.

New favorite coffee shop around the area. Been here almost 2-3 times a week to get my caffeine fixed around 3 pm, Piccolo was one of the best in area, using medium dark roast coffee beans. I’ve tried malabi, it’s a rice pudding dessert, with some pistachio and berry compote, and it just get hooked right away, not too sweet and perfect also to go with coffee.

Sometimes I need a second visit to let the 5th star shine, so I'll return asap to let that honour click. No doubt the felafel here are top notch: fluff and crunch as they should. The bowl otherwise is a mix of good pickles and Israeli salad thats cut too fine (though perfect small dice) for any flavour to really shine. The hummus doesn't seem to make this plate, and I'm grateful to get the bread compd when I realise it's not included. The bread itself looks the goods; traditional sweetness here is not to my taste, though traditional, so no complaints. The bowl as a whole dish just feels underwhelming, compared to say Melbourne's Miznon. The service here is super kind and friendly, and the prices low enough to make this a regular, with which to raise the stars to 5. Probably.

Omg! We are back for the second visit and it is better than the first one! Chips were out of this world crazy delicious and the Shawarma was exceptionally delicious and extremely filling. Just look at the size of it!! So many good things in the menu it’s hard to choose..
