Got the sole of my weightlifting shoes redone due to the degradation of the rubber. Baxter and Black did a phenomenal job re-gripping them and shaping the rubber to the unique shape of the shoe. 10/10 craftsmanship.

Fantastic experience with the team at Baxter & Black. I am so happy and grateful that they expertly and beautifully restored my Grandfather’s old horses leather necklace. Being nearly a 100 years old it was in a poor condition. Now with their exceptional care and attention to detail it is once again looking magnificent and proudly on display in my home.

I am extremely happy and grateful to the team at Baxter & Black for rejuvenating/ resurrecting my husband’s very old Gladstone Bag. Although the outside leather had received some attention over the years, the interior was in a terrible state of disrepair. The counter staff and craftspeople at B&B provided excellent advice, and did a wonderful job of replacing the inside lining and fixing the catch mechanisms. I also bought a beautiful leather satchel from them, and its stitching and craftsmanship is superb. Only today I had a salesperson admire it and ask where I got it. I highly recommend Baxter & Black.

Definitely the best shoe repairer in the Inner West, if you want a quality job which is guaranteed this is your place. If you want a quick fix then this is not the shop for you. The only one Star reviews are for people who don’t want to spend money on quality work. I have all my high-quality shoes repaired here. I’ve also bought beautiful handbags. I highly recommend the shop.

I purchased a pair of mid-height Ganni boots online, but couldn’t get my foot past the ankle. Baxter & Black inserted a perfectly matched zipper, and the finish is beautiful. The turnaround time was remarkably fast, and Rachel consulted with me throughout to ensure the outcome I wanted.
