I queued from 5:10am, only to experience one of the worst-managed events I’ve ever attended. The crowd control was extremely poor. There was constant pushing, people cutting into the queue, and at times it genuinely felt unsafe. Large groups were being let in all at once, creating what felt like stampedes, with no visible security or staff managing the situation properly. The only time anyone used the microphone was to tell people they couldn’t get in, rather than giving updates or helping organise the crowd. Opening additional doors without properly managing the queues only made the situation worse. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience due to the lack of organisation and concern for people’s safety. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Very disappointing experience at Bondi Road Hotel. I ordered food, paid for it, and the staff member never gave me an order number. I waited for more than 40 minutes, wondering why my food wasn’t ready, only to be told, “We forgot to give you a number, we’ll make it again.” This is completely unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to wait that long because of a basic mistake by the staff. There was no proper apology or effort to make up for the inconvenience. I expected much better service and won’t be returning.

4 years of Australia and I’ve never seen this: closing time is 1 AM, they are selling pints around 12:15; 3 minutes later, they light up the place and start to kick you out. No last drink calls, no warnings. And because you are drunk, you can’t argue, because you’ll be seen as a troublemaker. Some good blokes protested - rightfully - since they all had full glasses at that time. The staff didn’t hesitate to call the police for that, despite them not being violent.

Very rude staff and manager. Inconsiderate about outrageous volume of music and very judgmental. Was very rude to my friend and I when we simply wanted to sit and do work inside during the day instead of drinking/partying (even though they have maximum 2-3 customers before 4pm). Felt very unwelcome and judged by their staff, especially as young University students who are not from Sydney. Would not recommend if you want to feel included and welcomed. Do better!

We just went for lunch. Really well laid out and big pub with Lots of great spaces for different cohorts but UFC was blasting so loud over the entire venue it was hard to hear one another talk even in the beer garden or order at the bar without yelling. I guess they have a niche audience but it wasnt welcoming for anyone else.
