My experience with this church was deeply painful and has had a lasting impact on my trust in church leadership and pastoral care. I joined this church shortly after arriving in a new country, while I was already extremely sick. I spent about a year without a clear diagnosis and without effective medical treatment for a complex and poorly understood condition, during which my health significantly deteriorated. At my lowest point, I reached a mental health crisis and attempted to take my own life. On that same day, I contacted the pastor for help. When he came to meet me, instead of receiving care or support, I was told that I was “giving too much work” and that he was “tired” of dealing with my situation. This response was extremely distressing and left me feeling unsupported in a moment of extreme vulnerability. There was no meaningful pastoral follow-up or resolution afterwards, and I eventually left the church deeply hurt. Following this, informal narratives began circulating within the church community that misrepresented what had occurred. Over time, I experienced being perceived in a distorted way, while the leadership involved appeared to remain unquestioned and unaffect

If you’re looking for a local church that’s authentic and welcoming then look no more! The atmosphere and genuine love and teaching of Jesus alongside caring for one another is special - I feel blessed to be apart of it!

We occasionally come here for the midweek morning hop & bop sessions. The music and entertainment for the kids is fantastic. Thank you to you all for your hospitality!

Lovely church! Small, close-knitted church in Bondi with very friendly and welcoming people. Great cosy atmosphere. Sunday church service at 5 to 6pm with interaction afterwards. Great and relatable bible teaching, songs and prayer. I have been attending for about a year :)
