The property has a great location, but the management experience was deeply frustrating. When a logistical issue arose — our party of multiple guests had only 2 key cards while others were over 90 minutes away in the Blue Mountains — I needed a simple solution fast. Despite the host, Gina, being local, she refuses all phone calls and communicates exclusively via text. The responses were so slow and robotic they felt AI-generated. What should have been a five-minute call turned into over an hour of back-and-forth texting just to confirm a spare key could be delivered — ultimately requiring Airbnb support to get involved. To make matters worse, a retaliatory review containing false claims was posted against us after we raised the issue. So it shows they are also petty if you challenge their service quality. Good location aside, guests should know: if anything goes wrong, don't expect a real person to pick up the phone. Reliable communication and professional problem-solving are not part of this service.

The unit is quite spacious and comfortable for 4 adults. It has a beautiful wrap around private patio. It is located about 2 blocks from Bondi beach and near many shops and restaurants, making it easy to go for a morning swim or to pick up a late dinner. The private parking stall made coming and going easy and worry-free. Gina at Bondi Beach Holiday Homes was so helpful throughout our stay. She helped us problem-solve a couple of things and even sent someone out to help us work the tv remote (after we mistakenly messed up the settings). Thanks to the beautiful unit and Gina’s assistance we loved every minute of our stay.
