The best part of the week. Good vibes, good people, good health, good sunrise, good challenge, good post-swim coffee. I've been travelling out from beyond Parramatta for this most Friday mornings for the past year -- it's more than worth it every time!

I annoyingly waited a year on moving to Sydney before joining the Salties, and only so to build ocean swimming confidence; if only I had known what magic it is to start my Friday in the ocean and what awesome people the Salties swimmers are, I would have joined the day I landed. It is safe to say I'm earning my Salties stripes and am here to stay!

SALTIES is an absolute gem of a swim community! From the very first session, I felt welcomed, supported, and inspired. Everyone is positive , encouraging, and genuinely welcoming . Whether you’re training for an event or just swimming for fun and fitness or love the social aspect. The group is full of positive energy and camaraderie, making every session something to look forward Highly recommend to swimmers of all levels!

Life has been immeasurably better since I added regular doses of salt with Friday bay swims, and Saturday (Salturday) Bondi2Bronte journeys. Those beautiful post-swim feels are multiplied a thousandfold with the community/coffee at bRU after each dip

The best way to start your Friday morning! Friendly and inclusive, anyone can join in (I had never swum the bay but everyone was so encouraging I gave it a go). Post-swim/coffee high lasts hours :)
