For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Bondi Beach is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Bondi Beach follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The staff are so nice. We came in with my family on Sunday of exceptionally large eaters. The gentleman running the place told us exactly what to get and let us sub out what we didnβt want without any fuss. The food was delicious and we couldnβt finish it all. Great customer service and quality food to match.

The food is actually great β fresh, tasty, and clearly well prepared. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. When I politely asked for a plastic cup for my drink, the older man at the counter gave me two tiny sauce cups instead. Then, as I walked away, he shouted to the other employees behind my back: βIt is what it is.β It felt rude, dismissive, and honestly humiliating. Good food is not enough when customers are treated with disrespect. This was a terrible experience and definitely not the kind of hospitality I expected in Australia. I hope the business keeps doing well β until a better competitor opens right next door with the same good food and actual respect for customers. Then, wellβ¦ it is what it is.

Well my first pic upload was the food, canβt help it but have to say it was sooo gooood!! At first we thought itβs a so-so or not so ok shop because we saw some bunch of fish and chips fried and waiting for customer to refry. But we were all wrong, they did it from scratch and had to wait quite a few minutes. We were all shocked when we daw the big bag wrapped in paper. So crispy thick fries and well seasoned, crispy moist fish and chips! This was a GOOD CATCH in BONDI BEACH!!!

The calamari rings taste great and the chips had the right anoint of chicken salt on them. The fish wasnβt that flavourful but the prawns were ok as well. If the batter had more flavour for the fish it would have been a 5. Definetly will be heading back anytime Iβm in Bondi to get takeaway and sit on the grass and eat!

Great deal and delicious fish and chips! You know your meal is going to be good when the locals are popping in. We wanted some fish and chips while we were in Bondi and this shop hit the spot. The staff were friendly, chatty, and polite adding to the beachy atmosphere. This is a great place to get some fresh seafood at Bondi!
