Absolutely outstanding sandwich shop — easily the best Italian sandwiches I've had in Sydney. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the flavours are authentic, and every sandwich is packed with quality. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing feed!

Come here regularly for their delicious panini and pastries. Their Italian sandwiches are always fresh, flavoursome and filling - have tried four different types and have not been disappointed. One of my favourite Italian pastries is sfogliatella, crispy layered pastry filled with custard and citrus filling. Staff made it fresh for me this morning for a work morning tea and it was a hit at the work meeting. Thank you for being so accommodating and will be back for more sfogliatellas!

Bottega Sydney catering is like having an enoteca in the family! We celebrated a birthday brunch catered for by Bottega Sydney and it was like we brought the Bottega vibe home! The freshly baked panini filled with fresh quality ingredients only lasted about 20 minutes, and the fresh fruit and cheese boxes maintained the vibe all day! You could taste the care ❤️ Other than the visual presentation ( everyone eats with their eyes!) my favourite picture of the day is 99 year young Nonno, spritz in one hand, panino in the other, sitting with his 2 year old great grandson chomping into his Mortazza panino! Authentic Italian food, authentic Italian vibes, authentic Italian family togetherness to celebrate Alessandro, Isabella and Giuliana’s birthdays!! Grazie to the team at Bottega Sydney (Bondi), the energy you put into the catering boxes was shared by all!

Sandwiches tasted okay but ordered a panini and requested for it to be heated up. However, was refused and informed that it was only for focaccias, even though this wasn’t stated anywhere. Even Subway heats up their sandwiches.

One of the best Italian sandwich spots I’ve been to. The focaccia was absolutely incredible freshly baked, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and packed with high-quality ingredients. Every bite was full of authentic Italian flavour. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Amazing food, great service, and a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. If you’re in Bondi, Bottega is a must-visit!

We recently used Bottega for a catering service and tried a wide selection of their offerings. From fresh, well-balanced salads to panini and focaccia in true Italian style, everything was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming—such a pleasure to deal with. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their focaccia individually. A reliable, high-quality option that’s well worth exploring for any event.

We had the most enjoyable lunch — everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The Aperols and Campari set the tone, and the food was simply outstanding. The Pinsa was light and delicious, the eggplant parmigiana rich and comforting, and the Valtellina panino packed with incredible flavour. The carpaccio di manzo and tonno carpaccio were honestly the best we’ve ever had — so fresh and beautifully prepared. We even brought family visiting from Italy, and they couldn’t stop raving about it… they said it was actually better than home! A truly memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back.

Hands down the best paninis within the area. The owner Louise is the sweetest woman, bringing such get energy to her store. The atmosphere is so welcoming, literally feeling like I’ve been transported to Italy. 10/10 would come here everyday if I could 😍
