We were recommended this place and were looking forward to trying it for a special occasion. The ambiance and décor were lovely, and the service was friendly and attentive. Also the dough used for bread and pizza is great. Unfortunately, the rest of the food was disappointing from the very beginning. We requested our drinks without ice, yet they arrived around 70% filled with ice. While it seems like a simple thing to take back to the kitchen, when dining with children food/drinks being taken away and extra time for replacement simply doesn’t work. The menu also wasn’t very clear in describing the dishes, which led to a few unpleasant surprises. For example, the pizza with olives came topped with black charred crumbs that the staff explained were the olives. The result was incredibly salty, to the point that it was difficult to eat it. We also ordered the octopus, expecting something more in line with traditional Italian flavours. Instead, we were served a cold chickpea salad with small pieces of baby octopus in large amounts of olive oil dressing, which wasn’t what we anticipated at all. A lovely place, went with friends- the food, the service and the atmosphere were top notch. I would recommend every dish on their menu. The waiting staff were helpful and very friendly.

We finally made it to Braci. Lovely place, feels very cozy and inviting. The service is superb. Really friendly and professional and helpful. The food was delicious. We had the Brussel sprouts and they were crispy and delicious. The burrata was very tasty and fresh. The lamb ragú was very tender and full of flavour. The pizza unfortunately we could not eat. The hot salami was incredibly as the heat is something I haven’t had. And believe me when I say I love spicy food and always cook with chilli. We thought the combination of honey and hot salami would be perfect and the base of the pizza was very good. Unfortunately we could not eat it. However, it was lovely for the staff to take the feedback into account. The tiramisu was the perfect way to finish the evening I wish they would have espresso coffee to go with it ☺️😉

I absolutely love this place - amazing food, vibe, and staff are so friendly. However, I've sadly been given no choice but to take away a star in response to your (frankly cruel) removal of the Queen Envy Pizza from the menu. I lived for that pizza. I would frequently think about it in my spare time, distracting me from other tasks that I really should be doing instead. How could you do this to me - to us - to society??! If it ever makes a much needed return, I will immediately restore this review to 5 stars. Until then, I stand firm. Yes, this is emotional manipulation. And no, I will not apologise. (Please bring it back, I'm BEGGING YOU)

The best wood fire pizza in Sydney, hands down. The crisp of the base, the excellent under carriage with the slight char! The tangy sauce and well balanced toppings, and the spicy salami was ACTUALLY spicy!! I would highly recommend you order a burrata to dip your crusts in, that deli meat xo olive oil that comes with it is to die for. Don’t forget the arancini balls too, excellent lil meal starter. Then finish with a tiramisu to share with that someone special! Drinks are all priced on the slightly upper side so save your money and spend it on the delightful food instead! I’m so glad I’m local, will be bringing every man and their dog here in the future!
