I had a terrible experience at Rydalmere Bunnings with a young staff member Kean who works in the tool register and timber section. He showed zero knowledge or interest in helping customers rather spent his time on his phone. Worse, I overheard him using extremely offensive slurs and mocking non-white accents. I have been living in Australia for 40 years and I have never heard such blatant racism in a store. I live 5 minutes away from this store, but I will gladly drive 20 minutes to Gladesville Bunnings for proper service. Zero tolerance for racism.

Sandra at the front reception area as people go into the store is the best person.She is always cheery , smiling and her knowledge of where products are located is extra amazing. I don't know how she remembers where everything is .She looks it up if she does not remember. Bunnings Rydalmere are very lucky to have one of the best working there .

I attended Bunnings at Rydalmere this Sunday, I was extremely impressed with two staff members that attended to me, Isha and Young Rob, apologies if I’m not spelling your names correctly, thank so much for your help today, with my return, and the effort Isha put on to search my purchase via my Flybys receipt and print it out, Rob called is manager explained the reason for my return of goods, came with me to my vehicle and helped me loading the items in the trolley, is understanding and manner was clear and of a person willing to help, I recommend this two lovely employees for the respect help and patience, not forgetting their smile, they are both an asset to Bunnings as I’m a regular customer and local resident. It is not just about the products, it’s the helpful staff that brings me here every time. The guidance you get here before buying something is immensely helpful. Shoutout to Danielle (lovely lady from the Tools section) who helped me with hammer drill queries very patiently and suggested different options based on the use case. Staff like this is what makes this place amazing !!! 😃

Amazing Bunnings at Rydalmere. If you know what larger items you need, drive your van or ute or SUV straight into the bulky goods areas to grab your large teams & pay for them. Load items into your vehicle, then drive out for a security person to check your receipt & vehicle. We are repairing & decorating a wall. They have many items in stock while other Bunnings are out of stock.
