Good range of stock for a smaller store, decent prices, and quick, easy checkout. Handy spot if you’re catching the train and need to make a quick stop. Will keep coming back!

Really disappointed with the customer service. Walked into the store, at 8pm on a friday, where store is advertised clearly online and on wall at door that closing time is 11pm. Cashier was rude and said “we are closed” and told us to leave. I understand that sometimes emergencies happen and maybe they did need to close early, however you should still treat customers with respect, tell them nicely. Either way, closing three hours early on a Friday night is pretty disappointing.

I visited this BWS today at 9:00 pm and had a very unpleasant and upsetting experience. I forgot my ID and politely said that I completely understood if he couldn’t sell us anything and that I would go back to get it. Instead of explaining the policy respectfully, the staff member started yelling at us and repeatedly said “this is Australia” in a very aggressive and dismissive way, which made me feel discriminated against and a victim of xenophobia. We later returned with the ID, but his attitude became even worse. When we explained that we fully understand Australian laws but that people should still be treated with respect, he replied that it was “not his problem.” There is absolutely no excuse for rude, aggressive, and disrespectful behavior. This level of customer service is unacceptable.

Standard Bottle Shop. A bit on the smaller side compared to, say, a Dan Murphy's but they have most things you'd want in stock at decent prices.

The clerk was not letting me to buy commodities, even if ID card was shown. Btw the way he talked was extremely impolite.
