Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. If you have dietary needs, most kitchens will adapt a dish if you ask. Licensed venues serve alcohol; BYO places let you bring a bottle for a small corkage fee. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Penrith is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Getting around Penrith is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy centres, and most suburban shops have their own car park. Public transport and ride-share apps such as Uber and DiDi operate across New South Wales's larger cities.

Need consistency with food! I ate here last week and was blown away with a beautiful chicken caesar salad, it was lovely! This week, I ordered fish & chips ($24) and was sadly disappointed! Bugger all fish OR chips and a fair bit of the salad was old/wilted. Complained to waitress, she informed the COOK - no response! My niece ordered the chicken caesar (on my recommendation) - easily less than HALF the amount of chicken of my meal last week, the entire salad was half the size. ADDIT: More senior waitress asked how the meal was & we told her. Showed her the photo, she was great, copied my pic & said she'd speak with manager. Offered free coffee & cake, she was very good!

Had a lovely lunch with my father today. We both had the Chicken Avo Melt. Well presented, just a little cool. Should be delivered straight from the grill. The avo was a little brown. TIP - to avoid browning on the avo after cutting wrap in cling wrap with no air pockets. I can cut my avo, store the other 1/2 for 2 days in the fridge without it going brown. Cover in cling wrap and but the seed back in, store in cool area. Price 9/10 Food 7/10 Service 8/10 Atmosphere 7/10. In general a very well all rounded cafe. Comfortable music in the back ground that you do not have to talk over the top of. Great spacing of tables, clean and tidy. Thank you for a nice experience.

Located inside an aged care facility this is a charming little spot that exudes warmth and comfort. Stepping inside feels like a cozy embrace, with its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff making every visit a pleasant experience. The cafe offers a delightful selection of food, but the standout is undoubtedly their freshly baked bread, served alongside heartwarming soups that taste like homemade goodness. The pastries are equally impressive, perfectly complementing their well-brewed coffee.

I was going to give them three stars because they didn’t have any fruit or yoghurt on the menu, with not enough time to find another place to go this morning I settled on the scrambled eggs and this is the garbage they served up. If I had more time this morning, I would’ve walked out when this landed on the table
