Absolutely appalling arrived at 2 pm for a 3 pm appointment still waiting in the waiting for the minor procedure in the waiting room at 7 pm if they can't even manage appointments appropriately it's a grave concern about the quality of a so called private hospital avoid if at all possible

I recently underwent wisdom teeth removal at Chatswood Private Hospital. The surgical team was professional, and the procedure itself was handled well. However, the recovery experience could be improved. I was asked to sit up and get changed quite soon after waking from anaesthetic, while still feeling very drowsy, which led to significant nausea and vomiting. Additionally, there was a moment where one of the nurses told me that my mum was waiting for me, which turned out not to be the case. While this may have been a simple miscommunication, it was quite distressing while I was still coming out of anaesthetic and feeling emotionally vulnerable. While I understand recovery protocols are routine, a more patient and reassuring approach during this stage would enhance the overall patient experience. Thank you for considering this feedback.

This relatively new private hospital is primarily for day surgery admissions. Admission is relatively easy if you have the necessary paperwork completed beforehand. We had no problems with admission and discharge today. To make patient drop offs and pick ups easier, the hospital has designated 6 parking spaces at the basement for 10 minutes use. An excellent idea. If you need to stay longer, then use the Westfield parking complex nearby that gives you 3 hours free parking. Hospital staff are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of seating available for patients and support people at reception area. Toilets are available. Cafes and restaurants are nearby outside the hospital.
