City Cave Gladesville - Float, Sauna, Massage

I appreciate the flexibility of City Cave to accommodate people last minute. Unfortunately the communication is poor. I was sold a package and the package was then added to the cost of a session, something not explained to me. Also, when I asked about my package the reception didn't get back to me. I asked again and they said oh yes today is covered. I inquired about when the final one would expire and was told it would expire today, which was not explained to me previously, and I also thought the package was for at least a year when I had purchased it (as advised at time of purchase). The welcome and care makes a lot of difference when trying to unwind. I'm unsure what two receptionists are doing on the computer if they are not aware of each customer as they are booking in and out. Perhaps one focussed staff member would do better, and then another to accompany each client to their booking/room as they are preoccupied and hiding behind their computer.

City Cave Gladesville is my favourite gift I give myself. I always have the most relaxing time here. I love taking my kindle into the sauna and completely switching off. You have to do it in this order (the very helpful staff told me this on my first visit): Sauna > Massage > Float. My favourite masseuses are Jenny & Mo. Honestly the best massages I've ever had. EVER. Experts in their care and both extremely attentive going to extra lengths to make sure I am taken care of. When floating, I love the midnight moon track with silence in the middle. A truly restorative experience! Though if you're not a meditator, I think get the track to play all of the way through. Sometimes I do this when my mind feels 'busy' and it helps. The premises are extremely clean, and particularly the wet areas are always dry when I use the room. I don't know how they do it! The tea selection is also superb and the staff are careful to keep the environment calm and quiet. I also love the selection of products afterwards, very helpful post float. My partner and I did a salt bath at City Cave Gladesville and had such a relaxing experience. Lockie was incredibly polite and helpful from start to finish, which made us feel completely at ease. We felt comfortable, relaxed, and free to fully enjoy the session. Highly recommend.

Experienced the float and a massage at City cave Gladesville for the first time and was a great experience! My masseuse, Kelly, was amazing - so kind, actually listened to the areas of my body that needed more attention and educated me along the way. Reception staff were lovely and the space was nice, clean and relaxing. The only improvement suggestion would be to ensure more clear instructions of all details on arrival to those who haven’t been before. Great place though!

My Partner and I chose the 3 Hour Complete Wellness Couple Package! The sauna and float room were very clean and had no issues at all with working any of the buttons. Our massage was in the same room as one another which was nice and we both enjoyed our massages. The staff were very lovely and the girls at the front desk explained everything to us and made sure we had everything we needed. They also let us know about the current promotions which is always nice! The relaxation room in between sessions was peaceful and a nice selection of teas available. The vibe in the building was exactly what you need when you are going for a relaxation spa day. Would 100% recommend this to anyone who is looking to unwind or a couples spa day. We booked through Urban Swan and it totalled to $160 per person which is definitely worth it. :-D
