A wonderful experience close to city and yet feels like you are away from all the hustle. Everything is well thought out, tents were good, plenty of washrooms across the island and very clean. Kitchen was done well we enjoyed the bbq and the firepit. Would like more games in the games room and if the games room could stay open till late would be great.

We stayed at the Cockatoo Island campground with the basic camping package, which included 2 sleeping mats and 2 camping chairs. No tent setup was required, which made the experience much easier and convenient. The camping site was good, and the facilities were better than we expected. There were hot water showers and toilets, a kitchen, BBQ area, fridge, microwave, toaster, seating area, outdoor cinema, and fire pit area. Tongs, dishwashing liquid, and paper towels were also provided at the BBQ area. There are also two cafés and vending machines available on the island.
