Westmead is in New South Wales, on Australia's east coast, where summers are warm and humid, winters are mild and businesses keep to standard hours year-round with the usual public-holiday changes. Australian addresses list the street number, suburb, state abbreviation and postcode, and Westmead follows the same pattern; a number like 2/411 means unit 2 at number 411. Disappointed with the absolute lack of basic first aid and customer care at this location. I accidentally scraped my foot on a trolley and it was actively bleeding. When I approached a staff member to ask for a simple band-aid, I was told they couldn't help me or leave their post because there was no one to cover them. Instead of being directed to a service desk or assisted by a manager, I was forced to walk to the other side of the store while bleeding to purchase my own box of band-aids. While the accident itself was my own fault, the complete lack of empathy and failure to provide basic first aid due to apparent understaffing is unacceptable for a major supermarket. Management needs to review their workplace safety and customer care protocols immediately.

Coles Westmead is a reliable and well-organised store, especially convenient for locals around the Westmead and Parramatta area. The layout is clean and easy to navigate, making quick shopping trips efficient even during peak hours. The fresh produce section is generally well-stocked, with good quality fruits and vegetables. I’ve also found their bakery and ready-to-eat options quite practical for busy days. Staff are polite and helpful when approached, although checkout wait times can occasionally be a bit long during evenings. One thing I appreciate is the consistent availability of everyday essentials, and the store maintains good hygiene standards overall. Self-checkout machines are plentiful, which helps reduce queues, though a few more staffed counters during rush hours would improve the experience. Overall, a dependable Coles branch that meets daily grocery needs without hassle.

Coles is my favourite grocery store because of its extensive selection. From fresh produce to pantry staples and even specialty items, they seem to have it all. The quality of their products is consistently high. One of the standout features of Coles is their commitment to affordability. They offer competitive prices and a variety of promotions and discounts, making it easy to shop on a budget. The store layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate the aisles and find what I need quickly. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall positive shopping experience. Overall, Coles is a top-notch grocery store that combines quality, affordability, and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great grocery shopping experience.

I unfortunately find myself in this store every week because it’s the closest to where I live, but this is the last straw. Rotting fruit, dirty floors, garlic that is literally months old (the garlic in the photo were all hollow if you squashed them).. is what I have come to expect from here. I can’t believe how terrible this β€œfresh” section is. The escalator is broken all the time, the standard of cleanliness in the store is sub par, food selection is not great either. I’ll just drive to Baulkham Hills for shopping from now on.

Coles Westmead is a top supermarket that I've been too many times. The staff are really good, it's extremely well stocked and they sell quite a bit of Indian & Middle Eastern food (to suit the local tastes of the area including Persian yours truly). I quite like it and parking is really easy, just underneath the centre. LOVE THEIR WORK!
