A really nice spot in Enmore with lovely, friendly staff. While the quality of the ingredients is clearly there, the food felt a bit average taste-wise if you are looking for true Sri Lankan flavours. It seems tailored more towards a western palate, as none of the dishes had that authentic spice kick. That being said, the goat curry was easily the highlight of the night. The meat was incredibly tender and really well made. Everything else was just okay. Great service and a good cause, but the flavours could be stepped up!

The food here was great, and it was our first time trying Sri Lankan food. We really like everything we ate, especially (the huge) soft shell crab roti "taco". The roasted veg curry, goat curry, and the sambols were all hits. The hopper with egg was really interesting and tasty. I'd love to go back and try more of the menu. The cocktails were hit and miss; the negroni was great, but the martini tasted like vodka and juice. The service was mixed, one staff member was cold and unwelcoming, while the other who served us was really friendly. The tables were very small and very close together, such that we were playing table tetris every time something arrived for the table, and there was always a risk of something getting knocked off when someone at a table next to us had to move. It was a bit uncomfortable. Overall I'd recommend Colombo Social, especially if you can get one of the booth seats. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

I forgot to take more photos before we tucked in! I love what this place is all about. And the food is sensational. The soft shell taco is one of the best tacos I’ve eaten (and it’s not even Mexican!) The goat curry had a wonderful warmth (spice), excellent flavour, and so tender. Friendly service. Be bold and try something new! Plenty of exciting things to try on the menu.

Great service by Mariye. Everything was amazing from the delicious food and cocktails, down to the decor and music selection (old skool hip hop and RnB). Every mouthful was a complete flavour bomb. My top dishes were the pan fried saganaki, soft shall crab tacos and the goat curry. Right across from Enmore Theatre for a lovely pre-show dinner!

We opted for the set menu, which featured a selection of dishes including beetroot balls, kingfish ceviche, hot cheese with honey, soft shell crab tacos, rice noodles, turmeric rice, fish curry, goat curry. The overall flavour of the curries was enjoyable, though the goat curry was a bit too fatty for my friends. The fish curry, while tasty, was unfortunately overcooked, which created mixed feelings about that dish. As for the fine rice noodles, they were served steamed, but ended up glued together, making them somewhat unremarkable. Despite the portions being on the smaller side, there was sufficient food for the table. The entrees stood out, and I would rate them four stars. The mains, however, earned a three-star rating due to the aforementioned issues. The panna cotta was a highlight, proving to be a delightful way to end the meal. The staff were notably friendly and efficient, with the timing of the service just right—there were no waits between courses. The restaurant was full, providing a lively atmosphere that was moderately loud but not overwhelming. It is a family-friendly venue, welcoming children and offering wheelchair accessibility.
