This is the worst place by a long shot. If I could give -10stars I would Nurses are rough and don’t give a damn Food is sloppy trash No groups No one well enough to talk to Things get stolen No toilet paper at night sometimes even daytime They need to seperate schizophrenia, bipolar, and any other mental illness diagnosis not through them all in together Shocking place to go when your meant to be there to get better You actually turn out worse than when you went in there

There’s blood on the walls they swear isn’t there. It seeps out at night, thin lines running down like the building is bleeding. Sometimes it drips from the ceiling onto your sheets, warm, fresh but by morning, it’s gone. A ghost passed me in the hallway once, barefoot, leaving bloody footprints. The nurse followed behind it and quietly mopped them up… without looking surprised. I was discharged 2 years ago but the voices don’t leave my head there was a nurse named rosa she always had blood red eyes and a creepy smile all she said was “run for your life” and sometimes I saw ears in the soups

The manager and the nurses are unprofessional and dismissive, I have vertigo asked to go to my room to lie down, and the manager told me to go to the seclusion room or outside, kind you the only reason we are not allowed in our rooms is because they cannot supervise us is what he told me. However seclusion is far away as well and I would be unsupervised if I layed down. They know what they are doing being extremely dismissive and rude and they also physically bully and harrass the older patients.

I've had many horrible experiences in this place, yes there was times where they were helpful but the screaming patients inconsiderate doctors and dismissive nurses. All this combined especially the fact when i was discharged last year on my paperwork the assessing doctor had put 'Overweight' which as someone who at the time Was in ED recovery and seeing that caused a relapse. I did post this review under a different name just so I could elaborate sufficiently

My daughter’s just turned 18. She’s been really sick the last 2 1/2 years she’s lost so much. I was so scared to send her to Cumberland after all the stories I’ve heard. This is for Riverview Yes, at first the drs wouldn’t listen because they were going to discharge us straight away again after being on one oh one care. But shes 18 I got in contact with a lady called Heidi to advocate for me. She’s a brilliant passionate person. Helped me a lot after I thought there was no more hope After speaking to her doctors were very helpful. They listened to my Concerns even though my daughter was 18 now. All the nurses are very lovely from day one. Yes, this place is not fix my daughters issues These issues are not gonna be a quick fix. It’s going to still be a long road but they help her to start trying again. Don’t get me wrong seeing my daughter in a place like that broke my heart. It’s hard and you need family support to be in a place like that.
