I was very disappointed seeing this girl at the cashier today sun 2nd August around 18:30, an uber driver simply asked her a question, but the staff member responded in a very rude and dismissive manner. There was no reason for such an unfriendly attitude, especially when he was being polite. Good customer service is about treating customers with respect, even when it's a simple question. The interaction left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I hope management addresses this, as one negative interaction can significantly affect a customer's impression of the store. I expect better service from a business with Dan Murphy's reputation, and I hope future customers are treated with more courtesy and professionalism.

Dan Murphy's Alexandria is a convenient and well-stocked store with a wide range of beers, wines, and spirits at competitive prices. The layout is generally easy to navigate, and staff are usually helpful when you need assistance finding specific products or recommendations. That said, it can get quite busy during peak hours, which sometimes leads to longer checkout times and a less personal experience. Parking is available but can be tight depending on the time of day. Overall, it’s a reliable place for good value and variety, and I’d happily shop here again when I need a broad selection at reasonable prices.

Ive not seen a bottle shop as large as this. Plenty of staff to help you find things. Parking can take awhile, as the shop and retail park can get busy.

Jack was super helpful. He helped me find Crodino. Thank you so much! Really lovely store and I found a park easily at the car park they have.

The available product at this Dan Murphy’s is impressive but the service is pretty terrible. I ordered online for click and collect, dropped into the store and asked a member of staff where to go for click and collect. He pretty much grunted to me it was next door, couldn’t understand the grunting so asked again, he barely looked up from his register. I went next door, and it’s clearly marked click and collect I just didn’t see it. The service from the staff there again was just lacklustre. No greeting no nothing. Just mumbles. If people are going to work in customer services they should at least enjoy working with people and if a customer is being nice try and make the effort to be nice and polite back
