We went to Josephine from Define yourself to work with our daughter to arm her with some tools to help her cope better with the challenges of being a teenager. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. As a result of the sessions that our daughter had with Josephine, we saw her putting the strategies discussed with Josephine into practice, which assisted with her general well being and helped her maintain a positive mindset, even when facing adversity. Josephine is wonderful and our daughter formed an immediate rapport with her. Our daughter was already comfortable speaking with my wife and I about things in general, but it took her confidence to another level to have a ‘life coach’ like Josephine to speak independently to about issues that she saw as a challenge both in her school and also personal life. It wasn’t just the talking that was so valuable, it was also the strategies agreed upon after each session that were followed through with and acted on, that helped our daughter to better position herself around various challenges. I highly recommend Josephine to anyone who is considering how they might provide their kids with some extra ‘life skills’ to help them deal with

Jo's coaching has been of immense help and I thoroughly recommend her to everyone that tells me their child is struggling with any aspect of their life: school; friends; social situations and especially anxiety. Define Yourself coaching helps develop tools and techniques that are of immediate and long-term benefit. The results were life-changing for my daughter and inspirational for me as well.

I am so glad I was recommended to contact Josephine for my very anxious and sad teenage girl who had a lot of difficulty sleeping, going to school and finding enjoyment in life. Josephine really helped her turn her thinking around to being more positive, so much calmer and willingly going to bed and also to school. In fact she then recommended Josephine to her own sibling so then my 2nd daughter started having sessions and really benefited getting help on a few anxiety issues. They both liked being comfortable in their own home while having sessions over the phone. I also really appreciated that Josephine checked in on them between sessions to see that they were ok and was open at being contacted if they were in a situation where they felt immediate help was needed. Highly recommend.

Josephine helped both of my teenagers get back on track. One suffered anxiety symptoms and the other was socially disconnected from his peers and displaying symptoms of severe depression - and a series of psychologists and counsellors had no impact whatsoever. Then, thankfully, Josephine was recommended to me by another school mum and we haven’t looked back since. The combination of personal development techniques with NLP has turned both their lives around. My son has friends, goes to parties, makes it to school on time every day, and has been nominated for 2 academic extension programs this term. My daughter has gone from less than 50% school attendance to about 90%, is heading a project to fundraise for Stewart House, and has lost heaps of weight. Both of them are now happy, energetic members of our family again and it is all thanks to Josephine and her program. Thank you.

My teenage daughter saw Josephine for a number of sessions to help her deal with her high levels of anxiety which were beginning to prevent her from taking part in activities at school and at home. Josephine helped my teen develop a "tool box" of strategies to use when she is feeling anxious. My daughter refers regularly to her "tool box" and the increase in her self-confidence and ability to join in is wonderful to see.

Josephine has magic! My teen DD has needed assistance emotionally and mentally due to Complex PTSD. My DD bonded with Josephine on the very first session. I always say to Josephine that I am not sure what magic she weaves, but after each session, our DD is settled, happy, and has switched on. Josephine rocks!!

Josephine really helped my 12 year old to learn the skills of creating and building friendships. She improved her confidence immensly and helped a nervous, anxious year 6 child build the confidence to start high school with a positive attitude - making the transition so wonderful for her.
