I wanted to keep this review short, but I can’t 😅, because I think every little detail matters. And that’s exactly what makes Francesca’s classes so special. Beyond quieting my mind 🧠🧘‍♀️, her yin yoga classes helped expand and reconnect with my body and even let go of some emotions. Above all, she creates such a safe and supportive space. She puts so much care into her classes, personalising each one with a theme and making sure we feel comfortable with the right props. You can feel her dedication and creativity in every detail ✨. Francesca has a unique presence and also a grounding and guiding voice that carries you through the practice. She’s truly a beautiful person inside and out, and I’m very grateful for the chance to have met her on my journey 🍀. With regret, I won’t be able to continue as I’m moving on as a backpacker, but these classes have been one of the highlights of my time here in Sydney 😌. Francesca, I wish you all the best for the future and thank you so much 🫂💚.

You have to take seriously the notion that understanding the universe is your responsibility because the only understanding of the universe that will be useful to you is your own understanding. dharma shala has been a bondi institution since it was at the old Moses spice building in nobo. a humble studio where we throw shapes when we are not at the sobo shadow rock yoga ashram. no judgement - just adjustments. plan your deep flow practice here and throw down a casual kala bhairavasana. be here now.

I absolutely love this yoga studio. It provides me with a refuge amongst hectic Bondi Beach. The teachers are all wonderful. I particularly love the new restorative yoga class run by Heather. The new owners are doing a wonderful job of making this a welcoming community and spiritual space.

I'd been in Bondi for over a year before I found Dharma Shala, and had gone without yoga for most of that time as I just couldnt find a studio I liked. I love that the Shala's focus is on the traditional practice of the balance of physicality and spirituality. The space is gorgeous and the teachers are excellent. I'm so happy I finally found this beautiful space!!!

Took a few classes here while visiting and each was amazing! Each instructor had a different style but they are all experienced and offer adjustments for all levels. The space is very comfortable and not pretentious. I also love that you don't have to book in advance.
