I visited this store on 05/06/2026 at approximately 5:26 PM. The entrance door was closed but not locked. Another customer entered the store, and I followed. There was no staff member at the counter, so I could not immediately ask whether the store was still serving customers. When I saw a staff member, I politely asked where I could find Panadol. Instead of assisting me, she immediately questioned why I had entered the store and told me the store was closed. I asked what time the store closed, and she responded that it closed at 5:25 PM. However, the opening hours displayed outside indicated 5:30 PM. I explained that I had arrived before the advertised closing time and simply needed to purchase medicine. Unfortunately, I found the staff member’s attitude very rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. To make matters worse, she called her manager and claimed that I was shouting at her, l was only trying to understand why I was being treated this way while attempting to buy medicine. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this store. Customer service, especially in a pharmacy where people may need urgent medication, should be respectful and professional. I was

I recently visited the Discount Chemist in Bankstown and had the most wonderful experience, thanks entirely to Yasmin. Her service was absolutely outstanding. Yasmin was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and patient. She took the time to listen to my questions and provided clear, helpful advice without any rush. In a place that can sometimes feel busy and impersonal, Yasmin’s warm and caring attitude was a breath of fresh air. She went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and made sure I understood everything. It’s clear she truly cares about the customers' well-being.
