Eating out in Australia ranges from beachside takeaways to hatted dining rooms, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Tipping is appreciated but never expected.

I buy my coffee here for my home machine by the kg. Best coffee I've used. They also ask about when I'm going to use it straight away or in a few days to know what batch of coffee to give you (due to CO2 /degassing from fresh beans).

What a find! The most unassuming little place above the bus terminal, you'd walk past assuming it's another low-effort takeaway coffee stop. It is anything but. I am blown away by the amount of care and attention that goes into the food, and it's the type of menu that can only thrive on high-quality fresh ingredients. All the fruit for juicing was sitting in the display cabinet, which is always a good sign - shows that theyβre using great produce and making it known. The cheesy mushroom toast, avo toast with poached eggs, and freshly-made carrot orange ginger juice were all fantastic and served by lovely friendly staff. $21 is a below-average avo toast at most places in the eastern suburbs, but here it came with rolled cucumber ribbons and two(!) poached eggs. (FINALLY a place that hasn't gone down to one egg instead of two). Perfect portions. I only saw two employees (a cashier+barista and a chef) so they must've been working extremely hard to dish out the entire menu by themselves. So even more impressive that they were pleasant and not making us feel rushed while interacting with them. Glad I discovered this place, and can't wait to come back earlier in the day to grab a pastr

I tried their $19 avo toast. Iβll be honest that it wasnβt super filling, and I was still a little hungry after. But the quality was actually really good, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients and put effort into how everything looks and tastes. The cafΓ© itself is really cute, cozy, and has such a nice vibe. Itβs the kind of place youβd go to relax, have a good coffee, and catch up with someone. The food might not be huge portions, but it feels thoughtfully made and worth it for the experience. Iβd go back, maybe just order an extra side next time. The cake slices that I took for take away and also very tasty.

A lovely breakfast option after staying at the Meriton. Food was excellent, coffee was good. A friendly vibe and not expensive.

This is a hidden gem, which is great of you want to getaway from the main shopping precinct and eat in more quieter area. Iced mocha was devine, coffee great and food yum. And milk shake was fantastic as my son drank it so fast.
