⭐☆☆☆☆ This was, without question, the worst vehicle purchasing experience I’ve ever had. My family travelled from Queensland to Sydney to collect a BYD Sealion 8 dealer demonstrator with only 35 km on the odometer. Although purchased through a used car dealership, a dealer demonstrator with such low kilometres should still be presented to a very high standard. After spending more than $52,000, I expected the vehicle to be clean, fully prepared and ready for collection. Unfortunately, it was anything but. The vehicle was handed over with bird droppings on it, white marker pen writing still visible, sticky residue on the windscreen and the protective seat covers still fitted. It hadn’t been charged and was simply handed over with fuel in the tank. When I questioned the condition of the vehicle, I was told the detailer wasn’t working because it was a Saturday. I don’t consider this an acceptable explanation. Our collection had been confirmed well in advance, meaning the dealership had the entire week to prepare the vehicle. Instead, it appeared to have been sitting outside in the weather awaiting our arrival. To make matters worse, our temporary permit to drive back to Queensland

Had a really good experience overall purchasing my new BYD Sealion 6 from the team. The whole process was quick, smooth and very professional from start to finish. The staff were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with throughout the entire purchase process. I also really appreciated the support and follow-up after delivery when I had a concern regarding the charging cable — the team took it seriously and helped resolve the issue for me. Mick has been easy to work with throughout the entire buying and trade in process. From answering specific questions about the servicing and ownership history, to facilitating an easy test drive and sale. I didn’t expect to trade in my existing car, but was given a decent trade in price, and made the decision to lock that in on the spot too. No bs throughout the process, just a simple straight forward transaction. I wanted UV tint applied to the car too and was given a fair price. Killian the business manager has also been easy to work wirh regarding the payment requirements and always responds quickly to questions. Mick also ensured the car was fully charged upon pickup which is just a nice bonus. Would recommend and buy from again.
