Eaton's always has friendly and knowlegable service. A great timber yard as well. I never go to Bunnings as I'm sick of getting my bags checked when I exit,the poor quality products and talking with people who know nothing. If Bunnings is like the Kmart of hardware shops then Eaton's is like David Jones and the prices and quality are better.

If you need advice and not sure exactly what you need for a project or how to navigate through a DIY headache then I would recommend giving mitre 10 Forestville a visit. You’re not dealing with uni students with a part time job. Most of their staff are jack of all trades with hands on experience who can give you really good advice

I found the garage shelving unit I was after at this store so called them up to check stock. I spoke to a guy called Tom who was really helpful, confirmed they had it in stock and he put it on one side for me. I turned up at the store 30 mins later and spoke to a guy called Nash, again he was really helpful and the shelving unit was on a trolley ready for me to wheel out to the car. Great customer service, great price on the product I wanted, couldn’t fault these guys. Thanks very much! 👍
