Our group leader chose Meike from Eclipse Travel because in her own words "Meike was the only one who covered all aspects of her brief"! We are a small group of 7 making our first trip to Sth America. We entrusted Meike to organise every detail - airfares, transfers, hotels, tours everything. Her pre trip briefing was so helpful and knowledgeable. There was a degree of "hope for the best" as we have never met Meike and were using Eclipse for the first time. Our trust was never misplaced. The trip was in one word – Fantastic! The hotels were really good quality. From Buenos Aires to Lima and Santiago, from the majestic Iguazu Falls to the beautiful Lake Titicaca to the mystique of Machu Pichu everthing went like clockwork. The Cusco hotel was especially quaint and charming and Cusco itself is such a historic and beautiful city. The tours Meike recommended were very well organised and the local guides were especially friendly, knowledgeable about the places we are visiting and could give us excellent recommendations for us to explore on our own. After looking at various options (including AI), I decided I wanted real experience and help to plan my South American trip. I settled on Eclipse Travel, who seemed to be knowledgeable in the areas I was interested in. Meike was my consultant, and from minute one, she made me feel comfortable and supported in the things I wanted to see and do. Every single detail was handled perfectly - the customer portal with all of my documents helped me greatly. During the trip my connections, tours, hotel pick-ups and more were all on time and handled professionally. It was outstanding. Both Meike and Eclipse absolutely exceeded my expectations. The trip was fantastic, and each interaction with the operators while I was in Peru, Brazil and Argentina was beyond what I could have hoped for. I am older (64), and was travelling alone, but at no point was this a concern. Meike and Eclipse Travel now have a long term customer, and I could not recommend them more highly - for support, experience, knowledge, enthusiasm, and general customer support.

We had a fantastic South America and Antarctica trip organised by Daniel at Eclipse Travel. He worked closely with us to develop an itinerary that suited our interests, budget and made some brilliant suggestions we hadn't thought about. Everything was made so easy with all the transfers and we had great locations for accommodation. Eclipse provided excellent responses with any issues that needed to be addressed. We would highly recommend Daniel and Eclipse Travel.

We’ve just come back from a 7 1/2 week trip of which 4 weeks was booked by Eclipse. We hadn’t heard of Eclipse Travel but a friend had started booking a trip to Sth America through them so we thought we’d give them a go as we didn’t know much about our destination (Chile and Argentina) and needed expert help. We were going there because we had booked a trip to Antarctica and throught we’d see some of Sth America while we were there. (I later learned we could have booked the Antarctica trip through Eclipse too). We dealt with Tiffany and she booked our return flights and put together a fabulous tour of Chile and Argentina, with a quick trip into Brazil to see the Iguazu Falls from that side. EVERYTHING went to plan and there were a LOT of moving parts to our trip. Tiffany was able to tailor-make the trip to suit us and there wasn’t anything we were disappointed in or wished we’d done differently. If you’re thinking of going to South America and are overwhelmed by the planning process , like I was, because you’ve never been there before, contact Eclipse Travel and relax knowing you will enjoy a well planned holiday.

Daniel did an amazing job organising our family holiday around Chile. From the amazing scenery in the Atacama Desert where we were lucky enough to experience, rain, snow and sun, along with the altitude and the alpacas, llamas, donkeys and flamingos (kept our eyes peeled for foxes but not this time)!! To the beautiful hikes visiting volcanos, waterfalls and lakes of Pucon and Puerto Varas, it was all breathtakingly beautiful. I loved the last accommodation when we stayed in at the cabanas and BBQ’d delicious meats to the back drop of the first Full (wolf moon) rising over the volcano. Everything was well organised and easy to follow with great recommendations. We have come back with wonderful memories, a little more Spanish and a love for Pisco Sours!
