Easy going place, nice people, good food made with love:)

Located at 252 Campbell Parade, North Bondi NSW 2026, El Indio Bondi Beach operates as a restaurant serving North Bondi in New South Wales. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, is it busy at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. Australian cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon, while restaurants and pubs run lunch and dinner services with a quiet spell in between, so an off-peak visit is worth a quick call. Card and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere; some venues add a surcharge on weekends and public holidays.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 12–10 pm. Hours in Australia do change around public holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Beautiful inviting Colombian/South American bar with gorgeous views of Bondi shore front. Delicious and well priced selection of tapas (empanadas are a must) and fabulous cocktails and local liqueurs. Do yourself a favour and pop in for a no-fuss, quick pick me up, or make a night of it. You won’t be disappointed!

I have to say, this is the best Latin American restaurant I’ve ever been to in Sydney. I’m originally from Colombia, and eating here genuinely made me feel like I was back in my home city. The portion sizes, the quality of the ingredients, and the sweet plantains… OMG, absolutely delicious! We were also served by a lovely lady, and the service was fantastic from beginning to end. My friend ordered the prawn arepa 🍀, and the amount of prawns was outstanding β€” unlike other places where they only give you 3 prawns! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience. I can’t wait to come back!

This is probably some of the best food I’ve had in Australia. Moving here from LA where I’m so used to getting some of the best Latin food you can get, I finally found a place that matches my standards for this cuisine. The Arepas (beef with plaintain) are very filling so you only need one, and I always feel, that if it isn’t messy, they didn’t do it right…IT DEFINITELY GOT MESSY. The empanadas OMG. The breading of them…I have no words….SO FIRE. Get the Argentina ones. And the beef brisket plate….you made need a wheel chair after this meal, but it’s worth every calorie. Lastly the vibes of this place are great. Lovely ambiance, music, and staff. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk

Fantastic place for a bite. A bit of road noise, but very conversational. Service was good, atmosphere was good. Stop in and grab a seat was easy for dinner. Enjoyed the Bowls and deep fried empanadas.

I've been coming here a few times over past few years and it's truly a stunning spot with incredible vibes. Being right across from Bondi Beach, the views are absolutely unbeatable, and it's definitely a hot spot for a reason! The food is consistently delicious, and honestly, the taste alone keeps drawing me back. However, I've noticed a significant change in the service lately. It feels like staff interaction has really dwindled; you mostly just order via a QR code at the table, and there's rarely anyone checking in on your meal or if you need anything. On top of that, the prices have really climbed over the past few years. While the food and the setting are still fantastic, the combination of the less attentive service and the higher cost makes me wonder if it's still worth it, despite how much I enjoy everything else.
