I am writing to formally report an issue I experienced while travelling on the Sydney Metro today. During my journey, I noticed a strong unpleasant smell and poor cleanliness inside the train. It made the travel very uncomfortable and concerning for passengers. As a regular public transport user, I expect a clean and hygienic environment, especially in a modern metro system like Sydney Metro. I kindly request you to look into this matter seriously and ensure better cleaning and maintenance standards are maintained regularly for passenger comfort and public health. I did a tour of several stations following a friend’s recommendation. You can’t imagine how incredible the metro architecture is — and above all, how clean it is. I highly recommend this experience: it allows you to get around while also appreciating a true architectural gem.

Gadigal Station is absolutely stunning. It’s incredibly modern and feels very safe, especially with the clear separation of the tracks. The architecture is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, you can really tell a lot of care went into it. Everything feels clean, spacious, and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend coming through here if you’re travelling. A five-star experience all around.

This Metro station is fantastic. Clean, modern design and very safe with the train completely behind platform doors. Very quiet too. I found it easy to get in and out of the station. It is within walking distance of Hyde Park and the ANZAC War Memorial.
