I popped in last Friday about 5 minutes before closing (really didnt want to be that guy but had come straight from work) Firstly, the vibe when you walk in the door is amazing. The lighting display and setup of the shop is fantastic and you know you’re walking into a place where all the team are going to have the right knowledge and advice. I then was approached by Victor with a great smile on his face ready to help, even this late on a Friday afternoon. I was after a black x100vi, moments before I arrived, another customer had purchased one and now the website was showing no stock. Victor made it his mission to explore behind every box in the storeroom to try and find me another one, and he did. The customer service was next to none and I am extremely grateful for his help. We then had a great chat about the whole fuji line and different filters, his knowledge was great and helped me clear up a few questions I had. Victor’s passion and service made the experience really easy and enjoyable and he is an extremely valuable asset to the team. Will definitely be recommending this store and Victor to anyone. This is easily the best camera shops you can find in Sydney. Compared with many regular camera stores, they have a much more spacious layout and a bright, welcoming environment. It’s more like a warehouse or a studio. There are plenty of demo cameras, lenses, and lighting setups that you can freely try. I feel like entering a professional studio as a first impression. In many other shops, even when demos are available, the space is cramped and the lighting is poor—but here, you can really take your time and experience the gear properly. What truly sets this place apart is the people. The staff aren’t just there to sell equipment—you can genuinely tell they love photography. They regularly host photography events and social gatherings, which creates an inspiring and friendly community atmosphere. A special thank you to my brother Levi, who helped me with incredible patience. I was able to try the two cameras I was torn between for as long as I needed, take real photos, and test different lenses. His help made a huge difference, and I completely fell in love with the atmosphere here. I really appreciate the experience, and George Cameras Chatswood will definitely be my first choi

Attended OfOliver’s shaping light workshop and it far surpassed my expectations. I learned so much and realized how much I still need to learn. The practical aspect of the workshop allowing us to work with models was invaluable! Can’t wait for more of these. Update: I have gone to multiple more workshops since the first one and every time the value is amazing! Hope they keep it up!
