Such a beautiful spot! Early in the morning when the waves were strong, the water was crashing into the rocks and splashing everywhere—honestly so stunning. A couple of hours later, as the sun came up, the waves calmed down and people were just chilling under the rocks, letting the water spill over them. The whole vibe is just amazing—so relaxing, so fun, and such a good energy. Absolutely loved it here. What an incredible place!

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour of Sydney, came here with the intentions of a dip but conditions weren't ideal. But still a very cool spot none the less

One of my faves - love how it’s a natural bath created by the surrounding rocks - so cool to swim in the safety of the pool, yet be surrounded by the crashing waves of the ocean. Next time will bring goggles to see what aquatic life I can spy!

A lovely natural rock pool at the north end Coogee beach access via Dunningham Reserve. Great for a dip when the waves are mild but best to stay clear when the ocean is heaving.

Giles Baths, Coogee Beach: A Natural Sydney Gem Giles Baths, tucked away at the northern headland of Coogee Beach, is a stunning natural rock pool that offers a unique blend of history, tranquility, and wild ocean excitement. It's less of a manicured pool and more of a "bogey hole" carved out by nature and early human construction, making it a true local favourite. ⭐ The Vibe: Hidden Ocean Escape Often quieter than the main beach, Giles Baths feels like a secret, rugged sanctuary. As you descend the stairs (passing through the poignant memorial portico—the only remnant of the old Giles Gym and Baths), you are greeted with a spectacular view of the pool against the open ocean. Natural Beauty: The pool is surrounded by dramatic sandstone and offers breathtaking coastal views, perfect for watching the sunrise. The Experience: It's an invigorating swim. The pool is open to the ocean, meaning clear, fresh water constantly washes in, creating a fun, wavy environment, especially at mid to high tide. Bring a snorkel—visitors frequently report seeing small fish and other marine life! Historical Charm: The site was originally known as the Gentlemen's Baths in the 19th century and has a
