Very disappointed with the service. Not worth the money. There were several areas that I had to point out and ask them to clean again, and later I noticed other parts that had not been cleaned properly at all. I paid extra for a good wash expecting a thorough job, but what I received was only a very basic clean. Honestly, my car would have been cleaner if I had washed it myself at home.

The good reviews must be fake because the staff are not trustworthy. The advertised price on the large board is $55, and when I gave them my car they told me it was $60. I questioned it - he said “that’s just the advertised price”. He was dismissive and then added, it’s more expensive because it was the size of my car. I drive a pretty small car - Hyundai I30, hatchback, it’s 3 months old in good condition. He was impatient (my car was the only one there at the time) and this demeanour prompted me to decide against having my car cleaned here, I just didn’t want to risk it. There are other car wash places with better service, avoid this place.

Long time customer (over 10 years with various cars) although haven’t been in about a year. I brought in my little VW Polo for a Silver wash (basic inside and out - advertised at $55). Within a few seconds the attendant said that it would need to be $65 due to the interior needing an extra clean (for the record it was dirty but nothing a normal vacuum can’t clean). I told him to exclude the boot (as it was full with boxes) and call it even at $55. He said I couldn’t negotiate like that. Imagine my surprise that he can change the listed price at his discretion but I can’t respond?! Suffice to say, I left and per other reviews by disgruntled customers on here, I went down the road to Budget Carwash for their equivalent clean, listed at $49. No upsell, no monkey business. I’ve left them a 5 star review for their honest service. The only reason why I’m leaving a 2 star review instead of 1 for Golds is because I have used Golds over the years without issues with price nor upsell. This tactic must be quite new but it turns customers off and is seen as disloyal particularly to repeat customers. I love the new reward system they started, the service just gets better and better. Well done to the manager. The staff is also very lovely and professional. Make sure you come and get your car wash and try they cooffe. Thank you for a great service

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been coming to Gold Car Wash & Café for years and they have never failed to impress. Five stars again today. I paid a little extra to have the interior trims washed down after transporting two big, hairy dogs, and the team did an absolutely amazing job. The car looks and feels fantastic. Consistently great service, attention to detail, and well worth it every time.
