I highly recommend Nelaka De Silva from Gorval Lynch. He was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, even outside of normal business hours and on weekends, which made a stressful situation much easier to manage. I’m based in Western Australia while Gorval Lynch are based in NSW, and this was never an issue even when communicating with my employer. Everything was handled seamlessly. I cannot recommend Serge, Nelaka and Cindy enough! I had a case of unfair dismissal, and from the get go I called 4 different law firms till I found these guys and felt positive. Serge gave me his time for an initial call without a fee which is so great as some firms want a fee just for the first chat! He was extremely knowledgeable, understanding and confident that I had a case. At a time I was starting to feel defeated, he lifted me up. He was exactly the kind of lawyer you want. Once I decided to pursue a case, I started working with Nelaka, who was extremely responsive, empathic, kind and helpful. He too made the experience feel like I could win, l instantly felt they were both on my team. He would send me emails at all times of the day and night, he was meticulous and put in a lot of effort to make sure the service they provided me with was impeccable. After one email sent to my employer, my employer came back with a settlement figure that I was happy to take. I was glad it didn't drag on, as it is a very emotional road.
