This place is run by a beautiful group of happy Vietnamese ladies serving delicious sweet and savoury pastries. They have some very interesting flavour combos to try but I went with a couple of classics. An almond croissant which was excellent, crunchy and not too heavy as it had a mix of almond paste and pastry cream, and a bacon and cheese pastry with fresh bree on top... Next level! I want to go back and try the banh mi next!

From day 1 the experience has been amazing. The customer service is on point, the pastry and balance of flavours is just phenomenal. Never had pastry as good as this. There’s nothing on the menu that won’t transform you. Every week there’s new flavours to discover. My favourite place in Sydney for savoury and sweet.

The best Danish that I ever had! The bacon and brie cheese is the best, I really like this new bakery in the heart of Surry Hills! And just like that I found my new favourite place! They have bagels, breads and bahn mi as well! Definitely worth checking it out！！！^_^

Nice bakery shop with delicious bánh mì. The bread was fresh and crispy, and the filling was very tasty. They also have a comfortable seating area where you can enjoy your hot bánh mì and coffee on the spot. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. A great place to stop by for breakfast or a coffee break

A long weekend is the perfect excuse to explore Sydney’s inner city, and that’s exactly how I stumbled across Grano Bakery in Surry Hills. This little bakery has only just opened its doors—just over a week ago, according to the lovely lady behind the counter, whose warm smile made the visit even more enjoyable. The front display was packed with tempting treats. Freshly baked breads with beautifully crisp crusts sat alongside traditional quiches, cinnamon scrolls, buttery croissants, chocolate cake, carrot cake by the slice, and plenty more. Everything looked delicious, and the aroma of fresh baking drifting through the shop only heightened the anticipation. On the recommendation of the staff member, I opted for the pork belly Bánh Mì over the chicken and meatball options. I wasn’t disappointed. The roll was warm, crusty and fresh from the oven, generously filled with crispy crackling and tender pieces of pork belly. The crunch of the bread paired perfectly with the crackling, while the juicy pork brought richness and flavour.
