I cannot thank Mel at Guardian Funerals Merrylands enough for the kindness, compassion, and genuine care she showed our family and friends during one of the most heartbreaking times of our lives. From the moment we met her, Mel treated our precious Rio with such dignity and respect. She went above and beyond to prepare the most beautiful viewing, despite the short notice and the difficult circumstances surrounding his passing. Every preparation was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to spend precious final moments with our beautiful boy in a peaceful and loving setting. Mel's warmth, patience, and constant reassurance brought us comfort when we needed it most. She never made us feel rushed, always listened with compassion, and helped guide us through every step with grace and professionalism. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Mel. Arranging a funeral for our mum was difficult (her passing in Canberra and then being transported back to Sydney for burial), but with all the help from Brendan Brooke from Guardian Funerals made it a lot easier for us to be able to organise it. Brendan, with all your phone calls and emails you made it a very easy process for us. I think our mum would have been over the moon as to how everything went on the day. I would highly recommend Guardian Funerals.

Brendan and Melinda at Guardian Funerals Merrylands were empathetic, professional, caring and diligent which made making the initial arrangements for my mother's funeral less stressful. On the day of the service, Paul and his team could not have been more helpful or organised which made mum's service and burial flow seamlessly with grace and dignity. At a time of great sorrow and stress, Brendan, Melinda and Paul offered such professional, empathatic, caring service that I can honestly say I would highly recommend Guardian Funerals Merrylands.

Our family were very happy with the respect shown to us by the staff at Guardian Merrylands during such an emotional time. Their guidance and patience helped us to make good decisions and choices for the funeral of my mother. The celebrant was excellent, the service went perfectly and the flowers, music and the wake were all taken care of in the one package. We even received assistance over the holiday period. We can highly recommend Guardian Funerals.

From beginning to end the staff were caring and courteous i couldnt ask for more.Mel was always checking in on me to see how i was going and the process of deciding what we wanted for our mum was seamless. The private viewing i had at Lidcombe was a special experience in a serene room and was impressed with the presentation of mum for our final goodbye. The funeral service was also managed well taking all the stress away knowing we were in good hands.

Guardian funerals Merrylands were so helpful right from the start and made a very difficult time much easier for all of us. The care and compassion shown from Mel through the whole process was amazing and I definitely recommend her as a celebrant. She took the time to make sure every detail was perfect to say bye to my beautiful Nan!
