Very poor experience with Fiona Russell. There was no communication, no updates throughout the process, and I did not feel supported as a candidate. I understand recruiters deal with a high volume of applicants, and not everyone will be successful. However, basic professionalism and courtesy, such as responding to emails and providing updates, should be expected. I ended up working with another recruiter who placed me in a very similar role within just 1.5 weeks.

Working with Hays to secure a new role was ultimately a disappointing experience. The position and the team I joined did not match how they were presented on paper or during the recruitment process by Hays. When I raised my concerns about the role and team, I did not feel they were properly acknowledged or supported. The response I received focused on offering help to find another role, rather than addressing or escalating the issues I had raised.

If anyone has the opportunity to work with recruiter Linda McGovern, they would be extremely fortunate.
