Had a great lunch with colleagues here recently and the food was really delicious!! We ordered entrees of pita bread and hummus to start. The pita was soft and fragrant and the hummus was nicely seasoned. I was most impressed by the halloumi, it was compact but very well flavoured with the condiments. A bit sweet yet refreshing at the same time. The cheese was not too strong, so itβs a great dish for sharing. The souvlaki was tender, though my personal favourite was the chicken. Nice flame grilled meat with a good dash of olive oil to bring out the full flavour. But the highlight of all was the moussaka!! Super super super tender beef cheeks that totally blew my mind. Iβve not had this Greek dish before, so I didnβt expect the meat to be that soft and packing a nice punch taste wise. Well marinated and dressed in crispy potato slices, I certainly liked Greek food a lot more now! Iβd love to pop by again to try other great Greek dishes!!

The food was good. We had Taramasalata to start, then Haloumi, followed by slow cooked lamb shoulder. However the floor was understaffed. My table and the table next to us both asked how much longer until the main was going to arrive. I encourage them to up their staff to guest ratio.

Excellent food and service. The dishes were of authentic Greek flavour and full of fresh ingredients. I would high recommend the lamb, where the meat fell off the bone with ease.

The Hellenic Restaurant is perfect for any special occasion from seminars, weddings, birthdays and receptions. We had a window seat overlooking Hyde Park. Highly recommend the zucchini flowers! Note: We ordered medium-rare eye fillet but it came out rock solid.

A great option for Greek food in downtown Sydney. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was great. I was a fan of the roast lamb although the portion size was a little small for my liking, although my wife found the portion size to be adequate. I would visit again.
