I won't be returning to this shop. My vehicle failed its rego inspection here, but it passed at another inspection station afterwards. In my experience, this shop seemed to apply a very high standard, which can lead to additional costs. I would recommend getting a second opinion and comparing quotes from other repair shops before deciding on any repairs. Personally, I felt there was pressure to approve extra work, which made the overall experience more expensive than I expected.

Review: In my experience this car yard did not honour the commitments made to me. Before handover I was told certain items would be fixed and that there was a 1-year warranty where I could “just bring the car in and we will fix it”, however the issues were not fixed at delivery. I later experienced a problem with the gearbox and accelerator pedal and returned the car 3 times for the same concern. Each time I was told a service had been done, oils changed, and there was nothing wrong with the car, but in my opinion the problem remained. When I collected the car after they said they had inspected and fixed it, the odometer showed it had done approximately 250km since I dropped it off spotless and detailed. It was also returned with dirt, sand, pebbles and leaves on the rear seats and in the boot, plus new stains on the fabric that I have not been able to remove and marks that are still visible. The whole experience left me stressed and confused, and I ultimately kept the car as-is rather than return it again because I was concerned it would not be resolved. Based on my experience I rate 1 star.

We have been lucky enough to be recommended Nate and his team here at HFDT. From my son's Lexus IS250 to my VW Tiguan Nate was able to show how customer service should be. Efficient, professional service checking and making sure the best options were given to us with what was needed. Taking care to talk about there finds and visually showing the issue on the car to understand what was required. No unnecessary jargon, just pleasant simple conversation. Respectful leadership sees his mechanics also with a clean clear polite attitude as well. Cost? Cheaper than main dealers with a clear understanding of the breakdown of competitive quote. With a go ahead, they proactively had the parts ordered and the jobs completed the same day. Are we returning with the cars? Yes we are. We are 25 km away but the trip across the bridge to Gordon is well worth it. Give them ago, give Nate a call. Thank you for the professional experience Cheers Paul

Nate, and the team at HFDT Tyres & Auto Gordon are not only extremely friendly and helpful, they are reliable, and fast. I dropped in on a Tuesday to enquire about upgrading my rims and tyres for my 2013 Audi A1, and by Saturday, I drove away with what feels like a brand new car! 🤩 (the drive is soo much smoother now too!) They advised me on what would be most appropriate for my car in terms of tyres, rim size, profile, and offset, and helped me in choosing a rim that would suit the look and feel of my car. And to top it off — Nate even gave me a better deal on the quoted price. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 Absolute legends, I am so happy with the end result, and I can only but highly recommend HFDT Tyres & Auto Gordon! Thank you so very much! 🙏🏽🧡🛞✨

Great place, have done a couple wheel alignments for me for a good price and even chucked in a free scan of my car. Nice little waiting room too. Would 100% recommend.
