Don’t go to HOYTS cinema at westfield Warringah Mall . Cinema 5 ( if not others) is a serious health hazard as it’s infested with rats . My family abruptly vacated mid movie this evening after seeing 2 rats under the seats. Worse still the staff , and the manager on tonight, were well aware of the rats. Said there were rat traps in the cinema but it was hard to eradicate the rats . Said there had been a rat sighting/ complaint a month ago . Tonight the manager on duty refused to alert the remaining movie goers in cinema 5 , leaving them unawares they were sitting with rats around them . HOYTS management need to disclose they have a vermin problem, close down any affected cinemas and exterminate the rat infestation until such time as it’s sanitary & safe for the public to sit in their theatre/s .

I am completely disgusted by this place. I would give it zero stars if I could. The entire cinema is an absolute dump and completely filthy. To make matters worse, the theater itself smelled terrible, but the absolute breaking point was when we literally saw a RAT scurrying around before the movie even started! It is completely unacceptable and a massive health hazard. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. I am never, ever coming back to Hoyts Warringah. Absolute disgrace.

I have never seen a cinema like this before ! It is a disgrace to charge people for them to have such a bad experience ! - No one checked for our tickets so literally anyone can come and go in that place . - The room smelled like mold. - Seats fabric were ripped and full of stains. - Rubbish all over the floor , even pieces of clothes scattered around. It felt like the room hadn’t been clean for a few days … at least ! It was honestly pretty disgusting. All you can smell through the movie is the smell of old and dirty carpet. They didn’t turn off the lights when the movie started , someone had to get up and go ask . Won’t come back to this cinema (which is a shame because we have been to Hoyts in different locations and the experience was great , so you’d think all locations are well looked after ) I would definitely not recommend Hoyts Warringah mall , it feels like a waste of money ( and we went on a cheap Tuesday night ). Would definitely not recommend spending your money on tickets to sit in such filthy rooms.

I saw The Moment here and overall it was a good experience. The picture and sound were perfect, and the staff were friendly. However, the cinema itself could really use a refresh. The seats were the older non-reclining type, which isn't a huge issue, but I did find myself moving around quite a bit to get comfortable. It just felt a bit dated. It's still a good place to watch a movie tho

The cinema is convenient to access with public transport. The room was clean and big but the seats are old and lost their initial confort. The facilities overall are quite old and need to be refurbished especially the toilets which need a real refurbishment and cleaning. You have few shops to buy drinks and snacks. The experience was ok but for the price you could expect much better.
