Now the 4th time in 8 months for me to have my card blocked (fraudulent activity aparently) Always in the afternoon so I cannot withdraw cash or use public transport by tapping my card! Absolute joke, they will not share the information from VISA on where this magical fraudulent activity is coming from. 3 times I have requested further investigation and for a case to be built on this recouring disaster. Only today have I finally received confirmation of HSBC actually doing anything at all, other than issuing a new card. I AM SICK TO DEATH OF NOT BEING ABKE TO ACCESS MY OWN MONEY!!!!! NO appology, NO compensation and now they have closed multiple branches across Sydney, so I can only go in to the CBD. All customer service out of India and thr Phillipines, with nobody working in Australia...... I wish I can give ZERO stars

The young man at the front of the bank was incredibly rude to myself and partner. He ran into my appointment shouting trying to stop his colleague from completing the task for me she was completing. All his colleagues were great and helpful. How unfortunate for them.

Poor customer service. Don't expect to conduct your business face to face. Most support related to your housing loans need to be done via phone only.

The worst customer service. Made it difficult to open a simple savings account. Riona made you feel like a criminal on a visa trying to simple savings account. Online application required in person ID check but was interrogated in person at the branch. Wasted our time and money on uber because she made us return to the bank only to be interrogated again and the same rude service by the same lady. Don't work in customer service if you don't have patience of basic interpersonnel skills.
