We stayed in Room 22. The bathroom was quite small, and the shower curtain used to separate the wet and dry areas looked a bit old. The toilet seat was also peeling. The oven in the room did not seem to work, and some of the buttons on the microwave were not functioning. The electric kettle did not switch off automatically after the water boiled, so we had to stop it manually. These are areas that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable.

Our room was clean tidy and had all the things we needed. We had lake side hotel style rooms. . . . Well it was up the back of the property in a paddock with a dam. First you had to follow the dirt track. The walls were a bit thin every time someone moved in the room next door you could hear it. I had 4 kiddos with me. Sorry to the other guests. I can only imagine they sounded like a heard of elephants up and down the bunk beds. It was basic but also had its own charm about it. If it was warmer the pool and play areas would have been fantastic. The majority of the facilities at the front of property feel modern and well kept.

Recently stayed there over the Easter weekend. We stayed in tents while one of us hired a cabin. It was a great little getaway close to home. Kids loved the pool and jumping pillow. They also loved the Easter crafts and egg hunt. All staff were super friendly and helpful. The amenities were super clean. Even though it rained a bit all the family had a great time.

This has been our 2nd time with our children and grandchildren. Its our home away from home. We love it here. Its not your 5star accommodation...but its still clean and the service is excellent. Never had any issues...we stayed in the Pool Villa's and the beds are comfortable and rooms a re very spacious. The manager, omg...shes the bomb! John the Handyman is the BEST, always doing his best when you need something done! But, its also his people skills, very polite and considerate and very helpful. Also the receptionist she was so helpful and very inviting! When you have service like that, you always want to go back! My family and I will definitely be going there again hopefully soon.😀Thankyou Avina staff for making our stay enjoyable. Hopefully Avina will have more activities other than the games room and swimming pool. 10/10
