We had our first stay in a pet friendly Magpie Cottage over the weekend. It won’t be our last! The cottage is well appointed, very clean and cosy. A perfect size for us and our 2 BC doggos. The fenced off yard to the side of the cottage was just perfect to contain our furry family members. The staff are very friendly (especially Mel). Great location - fast food options across the road or a 5min drive to Round Corner Dural, and a local Woolworths/aldi/harris farm

The tent spots were not very nice. There was very little grass, which makes the site very dirty/muddy. All the tent sites looked directly onto a shed and rubbish bins, which took away from the overall experience. I was expecting a more natural setting with trees and a relaxed, outdoorsy feel, especially since the photos looked amazing. Unfortunately, it seems those images mainly reflect the campervan areas, not the tent sites. The pool was freezing cold even for a very hot day. The tent camping area could definitely be improved.

Stayed here for 3 days I really liked the cabins. It’s not luxury but fully self contained cabins with bath and shower, full kitchen 2 rooms. One upstairs. Although it was a little warm up there the kids loved it. Has aircon and ceiling fan. I was very happy with my stay. It has a pool for adults and the little ones. It also has a tennis court and play ground for the kids. The only criticism I have is the kids play ground had no shaded area and was way too hot for the kids to play. Perhaps a shade sail could be considered so the kids and more comfortable playing.
