I cannot recommend Gill highly enough. After seeing a previous psychologist who was dismissive, unsupportive, and didn't provide the help I needed, finding Gill was such a relief. From the very beginning, she made me feel heard and validated my feelings instead of brushing them aside. She has given me practical tools to manage my PTSD, anxiety, and depression, and I have noticed a real difference in how I cope with everyday challenges. She has also guided me through the workers' compensation process, explaining each step clearly and helping me understand what to expect. Navigating workers' compensation can be overwhelming and confusing, especially at the start, but with Gill's support it became much more manageable. She genuinely advocates for her clients and makes you feel like someone is standing beside you and has your back. Her kindness, professionalism, and support have made an incredibly difficult time in my life much easier to navigate. I am so grateful for everything she has done for me.

After noticing reading difficulties with our daughter in kindergarten, we explored several wrong paths before our neighbour recommended Dr. Gill Walker. She proved to be the most amazing clinical psychologist we could have hoped for. Dr. Walker is exceptionally knowledgeable and caring, taking considerable time to thoroughly explain our daughter's assessment results. Her comprehensive report transformed our understanding of how our daughter's brain works and provided us with clear strategies to help her thrive. Her warm approach made our daughter comfortable, while her detailed explanations helped us understand the specific learning challenges our daughter faces. I was truly blown away by Dr. Walker's professionalism, expertise, and compassion and cannot recommend Dr. Gill Walker highly enough.

Gill is warm and engaging and has been an incredible support to my Worker's Compensation journey. She is a great combination of practical advice and empathetic listening. Highly recommended.

I can’t reconcile the negative reviews with my experience of Gill. I have known Gill since the mid 1990's and she has never struck me as anything other than professional. She has never pretended to be anything more than human, and average, but this is what makes her a good psychologist, she understands things from a personal perspective.

Sorry for the unusual user name but my real name is Michael Doolan. I'm a 56 year old married Yorkshireman. I was adopted at 2 for my own safety but unfortunately went from a frying pan to the fire. I've experienced and seen real evil. I suffer PTSD and chronic depression. I think about suicide as often as many think about what their next meal will be. Appoximatly 8 years ago I turned up on Gills door a broken man on the edge of imploding. Gill literally saved my life not once but twice. She kept me out of prison and gave me the moral fortitude to not harm others who I perceive are harming me. She turned me from an abused animal and into a functioning human being. She is 'annoyingly' right, genuinly kind, bright as a button with a smile that could warm an igloo to melting point and a consummate professional. I have absolute and utter faith in her abilities as a mental health practitioner. Anyone who employs her will get the bargain of a lifetime.

Without going into personal detail Gill has gone above & beyond advocating for me & spending countless hours outside of our actual session times advocating for me & making sure I get the supports needed. She has been so helpful & understanding as well as knowledgeable about different services & how to write/sign documents. I highly recommend her, I have seen many psychologists in my life time & she has been the most helpful to date! Definitely helped me a lot with her efforts while also always making sure I feel comfortable along the way. Thanks so much for everything!

Gill Walker has threatened to take ‘action’ against me if I do not change my reviews. I stand by my criticisms and deep concerns about her fitness as a psychologist. She is a bully. Do not go anywhere near her and dont let anyone you care about go near her.

Going to talk to Dr Walker was a marvellous relief - like talking to a very experienced, knowledgeable and supportive friend and a welcome hiatus in days that could be very stressful. But the sessions and advice were really so much more than that. Never having seen a psychologist before, I had no idea what to expect and wouldn’t have been surprised by incense and meditation! Gill gave me insightful coping suggestions and also very practical advice about my specific circumstances at work and really helped me deal with my situation at work.
