Jay (security) and Andrew (manager) were AMAZING. they were so helpful and so nice these people are really really good people I would recommend this bar to anyone who comes or anyone who is looking for a good bar to hang out at.

Rude security who are obviously racists based on the people you see them pick out as being "intoxicated". Watched as they picked out my friends who they assumed were drunk while allowing the promoter itself of a party stay who was literally passed out on the couch with over 5 people fanning him and pouring water to wake him up.

Overly rude security on a power trip. Don't bother going, especially if you are not white/Caucasian. Many blind drunk people that didn't get called out, but people of color that that assumed were inebriated they immediately picked out. A lot got escorted out when they were absolutely fine, but the Caucasians got a free pass

I had a very disappointing experience at Ivy pool this evening. Not only was the security officers were extremely rude to their patrons of African appearance, but I also witnessed several instances of racist behaviour towards guests with dark skin. The unfortunate security had the guts to assume that we were drunk prior entering the venue cos of our skin colour. I was shocked and saddened by the way we were treated. Despite having a chat with Brandon regarding the unnecessary accusations and assumptions by the security, we were asked to leave the venue for no genuine reason. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE IN 2023, THIS IS PREJUDICE, THIS IS RACISM and will not be tolerated.

Honestly when I first heard the concept I was mildly confused - I’d always associated drinking/clubbing and open bodies of water as a danger hazard. When I actually visited and experienced it though, it’s absolutely a stunning venue with an incredible vibe. During the day it is classy, beautiful and relaxing with beach but current music - like a beach holiday abroad. Almost insane to think a place like this exists in the heart of the city! At night it was gorgeous, packed and a fantastic vibe. Also makes for great photos. Even with slight rain it was still really enjoyable!
